OUR STORY
A Spanish-owned sanctuary where the Indian Ocean sets the rhythm — part café, part skate spot, part beach club, entirely its own thing.
Lamana was born from a simple obsession: what if a perfect meal and a perfect wave could exist in the same place? Nestled on Matara Galle Road, our garden spills directly onto the beach at Lamana Point — one of the south coast's most beloved surf breaks.
The name carries the land. Lamana Point has drawn surfers, drifters, and dreamers to this stretch of Ahangama for decades. We built around that energy rather than against it.
Today the venue holds a skate bowl, a full Mediterranean kitchen, a bar, and a private beach — all wrapped in a garden that feels like it grew here by accident. Rated 4.5 on TripAdvisor. Ranked among the top restaurants in Ahangama. But numbers can't hold the feeling of a Thursday bowl session bleeding into a DJ set as the sun drops into the ocean.

BEACHFRONT GARDEN
Sink into ground cushions beneath swaying palms with the Indian Ocean at your feet. Our sprawling garden is the centrepiece — a place to slow down.
SKATE BOWL
One of the biggest bowls on Sri Lanka's south coast. Local skaters session it daily; Thursday nights it becomes the beating heart of the party.
MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE
Patatas bravas, tuna tower, watermelon lemonade — Spanish-owned and cooked with care. Fresh, flavourful, honest food right on the sand.
SUNSET & DJ NIGHTS
Every Saturday the garden transforms. Reggaeton, house music, fire, and an ocean horizon painted in orange. Come once, come back every week.
